Dennis budd
2021-22 Commander SAL Detachment of Indiana

Commander Budd was elected Detachment Commander at the annual Detachment Convention, held in Indianapolis, IN on July 11, 2021, by the delegates representing 38,000 members of The Sons of The American Legion.
Commander Budd is a proud 18 year member of The Sons of the American Legion. His eligibility is through his father Oscar Glen Budd who honorably served in the United States Army from January 22, 1953 through January 1, 1961. He is a member of Kingsford Heights Squadron 434 in the 3rd District. Commander Budd is also a Founding Member of the American Legion Riders Chapter 434. Dennis and his wife Diane have been together for 28 years. Diane is also a very active member of the Legion Auxiliary and the Legion Riders. Dennis and his wife have two sons, Joshua 42 and Steven 38.
