Jimmy Martin is feeling blessed at American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28 New Albany Indiana. 4 Chaplains Service. This pretty young lady Cayleigh Young sang the National Anthem today. She is 8 yrs old it was awesome. She is also a straight A student.

In the middle picture is Detachment Southern Vice Commander Jeffrey Coulter, Mr Sloan and Regional Director from Senator Mike Braun’s office Jan-Schuler Hicks.
In the last picture is Detachment Southern Vice Commander Jeffrey Coulter, Mr Sloan and Seventh District Vice Commander Dale McDonald .
Sloan was given his Vietnam service medal accompanied by a four bronze star cluster . Mr . Sloan was stationed on the USS Brooke FFG-1 , which was a guided Missile Frigate. She was the lead ship for her class from 1962-1988 . This ship was disposed of on March 28th of 1994 by the Navy transfer to the Maritime Administration . It was quite an honor for Southern Vice Commander Jeffrey Coulter to be able to participate and represent our great Detachment in this momentous event
